11:45 - 12:30
This is not a talk. While some level of information is required to start (or improve on) one’s own Agile journey, Agility is best served by action and experience. This session is designed for participants to explore what it means to be Agile by experiencing it in their own bodies.* Focusing on the values as expressed in Scrum and Extreme Programming—two approaches that influenced the creation of the The Manifesto for Agile Software Development—this session will create space and offer exercises that allow participants to explore their own understanding of these values and challenge themselves as to how well they are truly lived in the workplace.
* This approach is known as somatic learning: “Somatic or embodied knowing is experiential knowledge that involves senses, perceptions, and mind-body action and reaction.” [ref: https://eric.ed.gov/?id=
